  • Overview

    The Senior ALM Manager performs the Bank’s Asset Liability Management (ALM) function under the oversight of the Director, Funds Management.  Supports the Director, Funds Management in managing interest rate risk, liquidity risk, net interest margin forecasting, derivatives, deposit modeling and funds transfer pricing.


    • Manage interest rate risk function including oversight of the bank’s asset liability management model including data preparation, assumptions management, reporting, model validations and funds transfer pricing.
    • Monitor daily cash position and manage monthly liquidity reporting.
    • Participate in net interest margin planning for the forecast process.
    • Create and/or review Funds Management and Funding & Pricing reports.
    • Manage customer deposit reporting process and analysis using DCG Deposits360.
    • Interact with internal and external auditors to provide documentation showing policies and procedures are being followed.
    • Prepare ad hoc reports as requested. 
    • Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
    • Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients and vendors. 
    • Represent the Bank and Corporate Treasury team in a highly professional manner.
    • Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.
    • Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations and industry best practices.
    • Reliable and predictable attendance.


    • 7+ years’ experience in a finance related field. Banking, including asset liability management, loan and deposit pricing and derivatives, a plus.
    • Knowledge of banking regulations and related reporting requirements.
    • Experience with Empyrean Solutions model, Axiom, and Microsoft Power Query is a plus.
    • Strong data and financial modeling skills.
    • Knowledge of bank operations, products and services.
    • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Excel and Word.
    • Management experience is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree with exposure to Accounting, Finance or Business courses is preferred or equivalent work experience.
    • Master’s degree and/or CFA charter preferred.
