  • Overview

    The Senior Financial Analyst will successfully promote and support the mission of CrossFirst Bank by using business data to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas and methods of improving operations. Responsible for improving internal processes for forecasting, budgeting and management reporting and providing collaboration on projects that impact business units and the overall Bank.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare daily financial statements and activity reports.
    • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
    • Make modifications to existing financial statement, activity report, budgeting and forecasting to accommodate evolving needs of management.
    • Build reports in Axiom software to enhance market reporting, forecasting and budgeting
    • Assist with preparation of other Bank and consolidated financial reporting as necessary.
    • Ensure all work produced is consistent and compliant with all relevant professional and accounting standards, regulatory requirements and best practices.
    • Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
    • Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients and vendors.
    • Represent the Bank and Accounting team in a highly professional manner.
    • Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.
    • Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Reliable and predictable attendance.

    Qualifications

    • At least 3-5 years as a successful business/financial with bank accounting experience being highly preferred.
    • A very strong knowledge of Excel and financial statements.
    • Solid understanding of finance, accounting, information systems and related disciplines
    • Strong working knowledge of database reporting software/processes strongly preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, or equivalent work experience.
