    The Deposit Documentation Specialist I acts as the primary contact for the review of documentation, account setup, and/or maintenance for deposit accounts. Serves as the deposit account subject matter expert and provides daily support for Bankers, Deposit Services team and other internal clients.


    • Review new deposit accounts and maintenance as well as corresponding account documentation for accuracy, completeness and timeliness; work with Bankers to address any issues.
    • Serve as primary contact for Bankers in assigned markets and other internal clients for support with deposit account documentation, client maintenance and customer information program (CIP) and Beneficial Ownership (CBO).
    • Ensure documentation is scanned to the bank’s document storage system;
    • Communicate with Bankers regarding relevant client matters, including service issues or documentation errors.  
    • Utilize Bank applications and systems to support bankers.
    • May print and mail client notices.
    • May verify address change notices according to Bank policy.
    • Process requests for rate changes and accrual and interest adjustments.
    • Add exceptions and findings to Department Knowledge Bank; share with Team.
    • Support Wholesale funding including Qwickrate, CDARs, DTCC, Brokered CDs and ICS
    • Provide backup support to other Deposit Services team members with daily tasks.
    • Assist with writing and updating Deposit Services procedures and other documentation to ensure accurate and current information is available.
    • Remain current with regulatory and/or Deposit products and services.
    • Meet or exceed Service Level Agreements.
    • Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
    • Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors. 
    • Represent the Bank and Deposit Services team in a highly professional manner.
    • Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.
    • Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Reliable and predictable attendance.



    • Demonstrated knowledge, with at least two (2) years of experience, in Deposit Services products and processes preferably in a commercial bank.
    • Ability to train others on products, services and systems.
    • Knowledge and experience with bank processing software.  
    • Proficient in PC experience in a Windows environment; including, but not limited to Word, Access and Excel is preferred
    • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
